Memoir
The worst birthday ever
It was a sunny day, the golden bark chips lay on the ground, the monkey bars and slide gleamed in the golden sun. It was one of the best birthdays ever (or so I thought). It was lunch time my mum had given me a glorious lunch with no sandwich. I normally got one but this time I had some nice food . Well, I doubt you want to know about my lunch so I will cut to the interesting part. my friends and I were playing Marco Polo and I was running away from the ferocious terrifying beast that was chasing me, well that's what I was imagining some of the time anyway. I was with my friend Henry then came the end of my fun. I didn't know that yet so I went to the monkey bars. I didn't yet know that, so I went for it. I swung and fell, my hand had slipped. I fell on top of my arm and broke and dislocated it. I had to go to hospital for the night and had to stay. My arm was put back in place and put in a cast that felt like five bricks had been put on my arm. Now you can see why it was the worst birthday ever, but I will always remember this birthday
